2502 somdej bkp lp lampoo nur phong dam

Very rare somdej bangkhumprom by lp lampoo. Made in 2502 with old fragments of somdej toh powder left over in pagoda. High concentration of old powder made this batch highly desirable among somdej collectors. Both good for wearing or collection.

Nowadays even 2517 batch cost 12500 -15000 thb. N 2509 batch is easily 37000-250000 thb. This piece is still highly collectable considering its price n value.

2502 bang khumprom somdej lp lampoo

Sharing some old pieces of unworn somdej lampoo pim yai 2502. Very nice piece at unrepair condition. Mixed with broken fragments of old somdej bkp pieces when pagoda was broken into in 2500.

Good pieces to keep or wear.

Showing here are special lot with red yant behind. Chanted much longer , kept until 2519 before release to public.

Very nice piece of somdej bangkhum prom 2502 by lp lampoo,  in very good condition n visibly see fragments of old bkp powder.

With red jarn behind. Added to the value of this somdej.

Somdej bangkhum prom 2502 lp lampoo

Sharing this nice piece of somdej bangkhum prom 2502.

Made by lp lampoo,  the wat bang khum prom abbot then.in 2502.

Mixed with huge amount of broken pieces of bang khum prom fragments and powder.

In 2500, old chedi was broken into by thief. Many old somdej was stolen. Left behind many broken pieces somdej thief left behind. Lp lampoo collected many of these n in 2502 made this batch. This batch was kept in a jar n buried under the tree in front of lp lampoo kuti. In 2519, this batch was dug out, stamped with temple red ink chop and put back to the old chedi. Only after 2541, it was removed from chedi and released to public.

There are two types. Dry n wet. The wet one was due to soaking in water n dries up over the year. Thereby forming a skin like surface like moon crater under close magnification. This is one important factor to see when buying lampoo somdej.

The one shown here is pim yai. There are three. Expensive pim according to lp lampoo book. Pim ket talusum, pim song jedi meehoo and pim yai. Cheapest is pim prokpoh. Of course prices depends greatly on condition of amulets.

And i have another piece without red ink (yant daeng) behind. Price 20% lower..

Prices have steadily increased over the years. Few reasons.

1. Mixed with huge amount of broken old bkp fragments n powder.good replacement of the multi million baht old bkp somdej.

2. Made by lp lampoo who is disciple of l.p. poo, lp parn n l.p. Aee. Very powerful monks n their amulets are all at very high price now.

3. Proven efficacy on Metta and business success.

Somdej Wat bang khum prom - 2502

 

Sharing a very good condition Wat Bang khum prom made by luang Dta Pan in 2500.

Luang dta pan was a visiting monk at wat bang khum prom. He admired Somdej Toh a lot and had collected a lot of his amulets. Many of those were broken pieces. He blended a huge amount of such broken pieces n making use of old mold to produce various type of somdej.
 

In 2500, when BKP grand kru was opened up, he placed all his somdej into the kru. Chanted for 2 years n released to public in 2502 when the grand kru was opened again. So, this batch was known as BKP 2502.
 

If you look closely, most of his somdej contains lots of old bang khum prom powder. Lots more than bkp 2509. That makes this batch of somdej a great substitute of the original old bkp costing few million Thai baht. Furthermore, luang dta pan is a deciple of luang dta Ee from chonburi who was himself a powerful and highly reputable monk among the locals.

This pim shared is known as pim yai lai yok (left shoulder higher). Pim yai and Pim Yai lai yok are the two most expensive pim of somdej from Luang Dta Pan. And Pim yai lai yok is even more rare than pim yai. And with this condition, it is not easy to come by.

This piece under a 10x scope, can see lots of old materials. and it is a great learning piece to observe amulets aging process, natural crack lines and old sediments.
