Rare: Somdej Luang Phu Parn (Wat Kusalord)

Super rare to find. Wat kusalord porcupine. Commonly seen are roosters n fish n garuda but for porcupine it is hard to come by.

Not many people heard of what kusalord. Until recently. But many people heard about LP Parn of Wat Ban num kho from Ayuthya. I have written a lot about LP Parn in my previous post as he is one of my most respected monks who has helped me in many occasions. Until now, i am still chanting his katha and felt great about it.

Wat kusalord batch was made by lp parn too in 2460. Chanted by him and disciple n mixed with the wicha powder usually put on top in small quantity. But for those pieces that happened to mixed with a lot of wicha powder, the material is usually harder , greyish green and has different texture than other Wat kusalord. That separates the price point. Usual Wat Kusalord is only few thousand THB but this type of material can go up to 25000 thb. Quite expensive but considering this history and also origin of the amulet, it is much cheaper than a real Mc-Coy Wat ban num kho lp parn.

Lp parn somdej is well known in the world n cost up to 600000 thb for top pim n condition. So for ppl that just want to experience lp parn amulet, this is a good choice.

What is shown is a top condition, top form wat kusalord somdej porcupine. Hard to find..

Some friend asked me , why this looks like fish? but i said it is a porcupine? Ya, not typo, it is really a porcupine :)

Luang Phor Parn - Part 2 (Making of LP Parn Somdej)

LP Parn widely known to have made three batches of Somdej.

The Pim Bolan or ancient models were created between B.E. 2450-2451. They were made using materials gathered by the local villagers and the moulds were created by a local artisan. It was said that the numbers of amulets made during this time were very few. Due to it high efficiency on life protection, metta-mahaniyom and luck, the amulets were in great demand. Soon they were all being distributed out.

Materials of amulets were

1) Magical-Herbs,


2) Pollen,


3) Holy Powder from past gurus,


4) The set of five great powders (Phong puttakhun, itichy, tri-singhe, maharaj, potamang) which Luangpor made during Buddhist lent. These were also the main ingredient in famous amulets made by great gurus such as:- Somdej Puttakjan Toh Wat Rakang, Somdej Pilan Wat Rakang and Luangpu Pu Wat In.

5) Phong Wiset or special formulated holy powder of Luangpor Parn

The Pim Niyom or popular model was created from B.E. 2460 onwards as the demand for the amulets grew. They were made by baked clay of several components (pebbles, shell, sand etc) and newly created moulds which were much more beautiful then the earlier ones. Many more moulds were also created for the six different holy creatures.

The methods of making Phra Luangpor Parn amulets of this batch were different from others. It consisted of powders from his earlier batch of amulets, various kinds of clays collected from paddy fields which required digging deeply into the ground in oder to collect the finer earthen-clay by the lay followers of Luangpor Parn. The clays were then grinded into powdery form and made into tough pastures and then into smaller loaves before being pressed into the moulds to form the amulets. A hole was made at the top of each individual piece of the amulets for inserting the phong wiset. After which, Luangpor Parn placed the amulets into iron bowls and baking them under the fire which was started by burning the paddy husks. Finally when the amulets were all dry up under the fire, Luangpor would insert the phong wiset into the hole on the amulets and sealed them up with cement mixture.

After the completion on making the amulets, an altar with various kinds of foods such as, roasted pig head, red and white sweet cookies and many mores was erected by the lay followers for thanks-giving to the Devadas.

Luangpor Parn blessed the amulets for a total of three months, every night when he went back to his kuti (quarter), where he would sit in meditation and invited all the past Buddhas, Brahman Gods, Devadas, past great gurus to assemble as one, to give merits to the amulets. He later explained that the invitation process was to enhance the powder of the amulets bringing them to the highest level of effectiveness. However, Luangpor Parn also emphasized that those who carry his amulets must not do bad things or else the amulets with not work as it should.


Wiset Hua Jai Sak

The Phong Wiset Hua Jai Sak or powders of the holy creature’s hearts were created by Luangpor Parn personally. It consisted of six set of powders for each individual holy creature. This type of holy powder was extremely difficult to make as it required full concentration while making it. Luangpor Parn was the only one at that time who was able to make such powders. He had to chant mantra and at the same time “contain” the spell into the powders with full concentration all by himself in the ordination hall. Luangpor Parn had to go without food for seven days and nights in order to complete the making of the said holy powders. Luangpor Parn also used the mantra of Yant Kropetch in process. During this time, many black-magicians or witch-doctors had tried to disrupt the process by sending out black-magic but they were unsuccessful as Luanghpor Parn had earlier chanted and placed four bowls of holy water in the ordination hall as a form of shield protecting the ritual. People in the temple would occasionally heard strange sound coming from where Luangpor Parn was and later told by him that it was the black magic being destroyed and dropping in the four bowls of holy water. As such, the phong wiset had the effect to counter black magic.


Making Holy Water

Luangpor Parn amulets can be used for making holy water as well. Joss-sticks, candles and a bowl of clean water are all you need. Firstly, hold the amulet on your palm with a calm mind and have full faith in the power of Luangpor Parn. After which, chant the mantra 3 times and at the same time light the candle and drip the wax into the bowl of water. When it’s all done, blow 3 times into the bowl of water and make a wish for the holy water to be blessed with what you wish for and remove the amulets.

The holy water can be used in many ways. The sick can drink it, against evil spirits or black magic to shower with and also sprinkle on all corners of new house etc.

This mantra can be used when locking of doors, windows, treasure-chest etc.

Diamond Armour Yant - "Yant Krao Paetch"

Luang Por Parn was well known for his Buddha Magic and Buddhist medicine & healing methods. He creates powerful amulets during the Buddhist year 2460 (1917).

He was famous for finding the extremely well known and powerful Katha / Yant (mantra) of Grao Paetch in the Buddhist year 2458 whilst making a pilgrimage to Suphanburi province. Famous for his discovery of the Sacred Luang Por Parn found this great Khata as he was meditating and a Yaan (or Yana in Pali Panskrit), meaning supernatural sense, occurred in his meditation. It told him that there was a special magical metal template hidden within the main Chedi of Wat Phra Sri Ratana Maha Taath, Suphanburi province, waiting for him to discover.
Not long after that he reached the Chedi and found an ancient silver template engraved with the Kata of Yant Graopaetch. The template had a message explaining that the person who found it shall be a Great Master, and that Heaven had defined who should find it. The Template also describes that one who recites this Kata everyday shall have his body covered with a Diamond Armour and will be protected from all dangers, he shall never be able to be destroyed by his enemies. In addition, the enemy will be destroyed through a strange phenomenon because of the reflective result from the magic Diamond Armour !

Base on Mr. Spencer’s contact experiences with Wat Bang Nom Kho. In any year that had the auspicious Sao Ha day (Saturday, the fifth day of the waxing moon period, lunar month), Luang Phor Phan would perform a very special Ceremony, consecrating and embedding Yant Grao Paetch into his thousands of disciples gathering in Wat Bang Nom Kho temple.

Luang Por would write the Khata on a blackboard and tell everybody to choose one letter of the script NA-MO-PUT-TAA-YA (five Aspects of the Buddha). Then he would stand behind the blackboard and recite a Khata to push the letters and imprint them on all devotees. If a recipient really had good meditative skills, one of the letters would become embedded onto his skull for his whole life.
Amazingly, it was observed that when one of these devotees died and was brought into cremation, the script clearly appeared upon the forehead of the

person’s skull when the remains were inspected.

Khata Yant Graopaetch requires daily recitation. If this is done, the person reciting will be perfectly protected from all dangers even deadly events and will never be able to harm you.

Rich Katha - From LP Parn, Wat Ban NamKho

I have been chanting the following rich katha for the past 1 year. So far so good :)

The Rich Katha:
Na Mo Tassa Bhakhawato Arahato Samma Sambudh Tassa (Repeat X3 times)

Buddha Ma Aa U (1 time)

Na Mo Budh Dha Ya (1 time)

Wira Dhayo, Wira Konayang ,Wira Hingsa, Wira Dhasi ,Wira Dhasa,

Wira Ittiyo Buddhassa Manee Mama Buddhassa Swahom (Main Katha: Repeat X3, X5, X7,or X9 times)
(**When you want to repeat the Katha, just start with the main Katha: Wira Dhayo Wira Konayang..... so on!)

Notes:
When you start practicing this Katha, you should start with 3 times for the core Katha (Wira Dhayo....). Until you chant fluently, you may chant more times. But it is a must to keep the times of chanting constantly in some long period before shifting to more additive step. Or you may keep 3 times forever.
But as on Mr.Prayong's practice, he chanted 9 times. Daily chanting on this Katha will make your earning & living significantly better in some degree, the money from your work efforts is enough for expenses -- if the household money run low, new wealth will come in time to support. But for the best result -- you must chant this Katha until becoming Samadhi stage -- and bigger wealth & fortune will come to you.

Important Reminders &Tips
For best result when practicing this Katha:

1. DO NOT STEAL.

2. DO NOT DRINK LIQUOR & ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES.

3. Present food to monk at least once daily. Some places are inconvenient to do this, you can do an option by donate money (any sum you would like to) to a can. If the can fills with moderate sum of money, please bring it to donate to Buddhist temple for monk’s food.

4. The main principle on practicing this Katha is--chant it until becoming a Samadhi (mind concentration). The higher Samadhi you reach, the more wealth and fortune will come. You can practice this Katha in every action, standing, walking, sitting, and working. When you want to repeat the Katha, just start with the main Katha: Wira Dhayo Wira Konayang.....
5. Before bringing out the money to use, touch that money and chant the Katha the same times as your usual practice. And in the night before parking your money into the drawer, chant this Katha the same times as your usual practice.
6. If anyone would like to learn this Katha, please teach him because this is the will of the great Guru.

7. If all these done, the practicer will get more and more wealth and fortune.

From the very poor to Multi billianaire

Mr.Prayong Tangtrongchit, an important layman disciple of LP Parn, was a poor herbal medicine shop owner, one day he heard LP Parn teaching this Katha to a monk of Wat Saket. After the teaching session ended, Mr Prayong ask LP Parn that he would like to learn this Katha. "Good, my son, within two years from now onwards you will be a millionaire," said LP Parn.

Mr. Prayong practices this Katha daily in the morning, evening and before going to bed . After 6 month, he reports to LP Parn, "Luang Phor, my herbal medicine sell very good, I gained a lot of money, but so strange that the medicine are still remained in a big stock even I have sold many. I bought in rice for daily consumption and is just used half the quantity only, even my wife prepared the rice at normal quantity as usual."

The effects go far beyond than that, Mr.Prayong said, "I can't compare to my grand mother who also practice this Katha. She always practices it until becoming a Smadhi. One day a huge sum of money miraculously filled into an empty safe. Before the money runs into the safe, there is a strange voice saying, "stay quietly and don't move, the money is running into your safe."
"My grand mother told me that after a striking sound, she rush to open the safe. Sitting there, an empty safe filled fully with money. She said to me: Don't worry now, if the Luang Phor (Parn) need money to buy materials for construction, just tell me -- I will donate. The more we donate, the more comfortable we will be," said Mr.Prayong.

Mr.Prayong later became a very rich man, he was named the greatest philanthropist of Thailand. He donated as much as LP Parn needed for construction of many temples. " If Luang Phor need money please don't be hesitated to tell me, I will donate as much as you required," said Mr.Prayong to LP Parn.

Before LP Parn passed away, he teaches The Rich Katha to many layman disciples.

LP said: "Don't do evils but do good. Our life is not so long, we just come to this world in a short period and then go. The 5 precepts of the Buddha should be practiced, if one cannot practice all, I request for 2 of them - Don't steal and Don't drink liquor. If you can practice this 2 precepts as well as the Phra PajjekkaBodhi Prod Satwa Katha, you will earn well and live with a happy life," said LP Parn.

Luang Phor Chaai of Wat PananChoeng (Sam Po Kong), Ayuthaya, a Great Guru during the WWII period also practise this Katha to bless his temple everyday to draw Buddhists come to his temple and donate money for renovation. He gained a great success at wish by the miracle of this Katha.
